Patents granted in New Zealand and Australia; active applications in US, Europe and Canada. Crop range: Exemplified with sequences from apples. In New Zealand this covers sequences with at least 70% sequence identity to the polypeptide. In Europe this has already been narrowed to 85% sequence identity. The range of variance is likely to be narrowed to a similar position in Canada and the US.
