Wendy Cashmore comes from a background very much plant-related – having worked in science teams, in commercial management of technology transfer projects – and with personal and professional interests across a wide range of plant and horticultural areas. Now with 10 years plus dedicated to the field of plant variety intellectual property protection and commercialisation – Wendy has developed in depth knowledge and experience in the IP field, and the commercial and legal aspects that underpin that.

Well developed network of relevant stakeholders globally
- Key areas of commercial practice involve - commercial engagement in arrangements to breed new plant varieties, the IP and commercialisation strategies underpinning those; licensee management, including securing of sustainable royalty revenues; strategic development of business models to maximise the value derived from the creation and exploitation of intellectual property
