The organism Lactobacillus plantarum DSM 2648 has been isolated and identified. It has been shown that when used in an animal feed or animal drink can be used to prevent, alleviate and/or treat some diseases or disorders associated with the gastrointestinal barrier.

Objective

AgResearch is looking to engage with customers who have an interest in developing novel probiotic technologies for use with animals.
